Born, raised and went to school in Athens, Greece. Then came to England for university. Went back home and appeared in two Greek TV drama series and came running back to London. Formed a couple of theatre groups, did some stand-up, impro, comedy sketch shows, took acting classes all over London, did Fringe plays, attended numerous Casualty auditions (at least once a year), then decided with Sheila Ryder and Maria Walsh to form a sketch group. In a bid to stay anonymous the group kept changing names from Big Frizz to Blind Design and finally to Bigger Than Dallas with which name it became defunct. From October 2008 to June 2009 Katerina ran a monthly comedy night featuring all forms of comedy in the world, like, ever, called Vranarama, at the Albany on Gt Portland St in London. In late January 2009, Katerina decided to do stand-up. Properly. Like a grown-up. With material and everything. She produced and MC’d Comedy at the Grape at the Edinburgh Festival and she was a So You Think You’re Funny Semi-Finalist and a Funny Women Finalist.
